Great place to stay when visiting Praslin!  - Excellent hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms for two people. Nice furnishing of wood. The staff is great, very kind and helpful. Always doing some work to keep the place nice and clean. And the receptionist oh my god.. this woman is just fabulous! She is always there and ready to help with any need you have like renting a car, ordering taxi from the ferry to the hotel, booking a tour for you, giving advice for good restaurants, beaches and places on the island. And doing all of that with a smile on her face, just makes you smile too. The hotel has a great restaurant with a nice pool beside which have its own bar for cocktails and drinks. They even have their own giant turtles in the garden. The location is perfect with many take away restaurants, supermarkets, shops, ATM and change in less then 3 min walk from your room. The Cote D'Or Beach is right in front where most of the boat tours start.

  Being kind doesn't cost a thing.  - We rented the villa a small walk from the hotel as we were traveling with 2 families, a group of in total 9 people. The house was fine, spacious, nice outdoor area but overall a bit rundown, not exceptionally clean. Location is great, right on the water, there are some shops and restaurants in walking distrance. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the hotel, which was plentiful. Pool area also very nice, kids loved it. Just a shame it closes at 6pm which is a bit early in the tropics.

We had a power black out for 24 hours, it was on the whole island and I think even on all of the Seychelles. Inconvenient as it was, the hotel was not at fault of course. What they did fault was the way they handled the situation. No communication, no explanation, no sympathy, no help offered, NOTHING. I reached out to the reception myself after more then 12 hours and all I got was, it's not our fault. No 'how can we help? We understand your frustration. Were the kids allright? Do you need a flashlight or some candles?' Nothing, no empathy, just a really defensive attitude. We were not the only guests feeling upset about this, a lot of them were angry. So unnecessary, this could have been easily fixed with some kind words, some understanding and perhaps a free drink or whatever to change the mood.

I work in hospitality myself and believe that communication can save the day. Being kind doesn't cost a thing. Management at Les Lauriers has a lot to learn in this field.

  Truly a Paradise  - We chose Les Lauriers for our stay in Praslin. We reached Praslin on a huge ferry from Mahe and found someone to drive us to this hotel quite easily.
After a short drive we reached paradise which is Les Lauriers.
Our room was so clean and the decor was so aesthetically pleasing. Felt so much calm to be surrounded by nature and waking up to the sounds of the birds.
I felt one with nature specially the outdoor shower.
The food in the restaurant is so good and fresh. We ate breakfast and dinner on all days here.
The bar is also lovely.
As you walk out of the hotel there is a beach also.
The hotel has a little gift shop to purchase souvenirs.
We hired a car and quite easily reached the tourist spots in Praslin. This hotel provides a free parking spot. Hiring a car is 60 Euros per day and is the best way to explore Seychelles.
One suggestion is to stay for longer in Praslin than Mahe.
I loved my stay at Les Lauriers and cannot wait to go back.
The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of this place. It’s so clean, sophisticated and for people like me who only like luxury hotels only , you will love it here.

  Bad disservice of the structure for booking for 2024  - Very bad experience with the hotel's booking service. On August 13, 2023, I regularly made a reservation for 3 single rooms for September 2024 through the most important booking service, which confirmed the regular reservation. In the meantime I bought the plane tickets. But after a few days I received an email from Les Lauries eco hotel telling me that they had made a mistake with the rates. A few days ago they canceled my reservation. It is shameful that an important and qualified OSI structure behaves in this way with its customersI hope that this review can be deleted as soon as possible, this will mean that the structure has taken responsibility for the mistake it made and agreed with the customer and has proven to be a serious structure.

  The best experience!  - Our experience with Les Laurier was amazing! We celebrated our honeymoon at this beautiful location and it couldn't have been better. The rooms were very nice and clean, the pool perfect and we still miss the amazing breakfast. The staff is so nice and helpful and also our children had a great time. We will definitely come back!

  Wish I could stay longer!  - I only regret that I had no more vacation days to spend at this hotel! My stay here was impeccable: everything was amazing! My room was perfect in every single detail: there was nothing missing, and the decor was a so charming one! I really enjoyed the external veranda facing the hotel's garden which actually looks like the Eden one: flowers, birds, coconut palms, papaya and banana trees everywhere. Food is impeccable as well (trust me, I'm Italian!). What I liked the most was the 'Creole Buffet' you can enjoy on some days during the week. Desserts were always fabulous (mamma mia!). Moreover, the Staff were constantly attentive and kind. I traveled alone, but never felt lonely, even on the rainy days (yes, even though I visited Praslin in September, I often had rain and clouds, unfortunately). Then, the hotel's location is great: you have just to cross a street to reach one of the most beautiful beaches in Praslin! I do recommend this hotel: it is the best option in the Cote d'Or area, I guess. Arrivederci!

  Perfect  - My wife and I did not sleep here but had lunch in the restaurant and enjoyed an amazing after dinner. Service and food amazing. Cocktails were perfect!! Our bartender was a nice and friendly man named Rasika!! He is very prepared and suggested us what we could drink.
His tips were just great and he was very kind and pleasant. Strongly recommended!
The context of the eco hotel is so well cured and relaxed, this place is a must do if you want to relax or have a meal.

  Cozy hotel with great location  - Amazing hotel with lovely staff . Cozy area and facilities, beautiful pool area.
The staff are so friendly and welcoming, in the restaurant and in the reception.
An extra to Ponelle in the reception, she helped us A LOT and had always a big smile .

The food was good, and we really liked the buffet- don’t forget to try it!

  Cosy restaurant with atmosphere and nice hosts  - I happened that I had my Christmas dinner here and it was with doubt a wise decision. The restaurant are open and airy build in a beautiful way, feeling both welcoming and serious at the same time. The service are excellent and food above average on the Seychelles.
I can highly recommend this place if staying at Praslin.
PS: There is also a hotel here but I didn’t have the the opportunity to see the rooms. Quite close to the beach and they organise excellent boatttips for snorkelling and Curieuse island.
